The Fiji Vistors Bureau has put this programme together for New Zealand Travel Agents who wish to become Fiji Matai Specialists.
The Fiji Matai Specialist programme offers each agent exclusive access to the Matai website, personalized training and updates on the Fiji product, latest collateral and brochure materials. Only Matai Agents are invited to participate on Fiji Matai Specialist educational programmes at minimal cost.

2. As a Fiji Matai Specialist you will be better educated on Fiji as a tourist destination.
To qualify for the Fiji Matai Specialist Programme you must:
- Be a qualified travel agent with a TAANZ bonded agency with an IATA number.
- Agree to complete and return the Fiji Matai Specialist Exam within 14 working days of receipt of the emailed questionnaire.
- Have been to Fiji within the last two years OR be willing to take part in a Fiji Visitors Bureau familiarization trip to Fiji within one year of membership.
